"The Bible Engineer" with Jonas Bergsten

David Capes welcomes Jonas Bergsten, known as the “Bible Engineer,” to discuss the Core Bible project. Inspired by the Amplified Bible, the translation uses parentheses, brackets, and visual layout to bring out nuances in the original Greek and Hebrew. Jonas shares how his experience with dyslexia and engineering shaped his approach, and how he and his wife, Lisa, helped create the Swedish Core Bible. Now they’re developing an English version, with online resources and a vision to make these tools available in more languages.
