Our founders
Mark and Becky Lanier are recognized for their impact in law, faith, and philanthropy. Mark, a nationally acclaimed trial lawyer, also established the Lanier Theological Library and the Christian Trial Lawyers Association, reflecting his commitment to faith and scholarship. Becky has been a vital partner in these efforts, co-supporting the library and their charitable work. Together, they have advanced education through major gifts, including the Mark and Becky Lanier Professional Development Center at Texas Tech University School of Law and the Lanier Center for Archaeology at Lipscomb as well as the Library and Learning Centre at Yarnton Manor. Their legacy unites professional excellence, spiritual leadership, and a passion for learning to advance Kingdom work.

Established in 2011, the Lanier Theological Library and the Lanier Learning Center are owned and operated by the Lanier Foundation—a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The Foundation’s mission is to advance God’s Kingdom through academic excellence in biblical research, theological education, and ministry training.
The Lanier Foundation provides vision, resources, and oversight for all Foundation facilities and initiatives. This includes operations, programming, and capital needs for the Lanier Theological Library, the Stone Chapel, the Lanier Learning Center, Trowbridge Village, and related facilities.
Its governing board is responsible for maintaining and growing these resources to ensure their continued impact.
Uphold the vision, mission, and core values of the Foundation across all entities and staff;
Support kingdom growth through library access, theological engagement, public events, and academic offerings;
Offer opportunities for individuals and organizations to partner through donations, gifts, and bequests;
Ensure professional management of Foundation operations, resources, and investment assets.
The Lanier Theological Library gratefully accepts gifts of any size. Contributions may be made securely online or by check. Thank you for partnering with us in the work of advancing God’s Kingdom.
