The library is closed to patrons and visitors, Monday, October 20th. Regular business hours return Tuesday.

The Foundation considers the Library and its facilities a gift from God, dedicated to His glory and service (Colossians 3:17). In keeping with this intent, all spaces are used in ways that reflect our mission, values, and Statement of Faith. Events and activities hosted on the property should align with this Statement of Faith, ensuring that all facility use supports the Foundation’s purpose and communicates a consistent message to the community.

All events we host are designed to advance our mission to educate, train, and encourage faith. As our community continues to grow, we’re grateful for the many like-minded partners who share this work. Accordingly, our facilities primarily serve ministry and educational purposes, and these events take precedence in all scheduling and space use.

While we honor personal milestones—such as weddings, engagements, quinceañeras, showers, and graduations—these are not the intended uses of the resources entrusted to us. We are not an event center in that sense. Thank you for your understanding, and we invite you to join us in our mission and purpose through our educational programs and mission supporting programs.

Lanier Foundation properties are not available as a venue for large weddings and receptions, or private personal events of any size. While the Stone Chapel may be requested for small weddings, on a very limited basis, the calendar is currently full through 2026. In 2027, requests will be reviewed during an application window posted on our website in the fall of 2026. We cannot consider submissions outside that window.

While the facilities are not generally open to the public, the Foundation welcomes requests from:

Approved employees

Library Partners and Patrons

Like-minded individuals or organizations

Each request is reviewed thoughtfully and individually as part of our commitment to extend Christian hospitality and live out our faith in practical ways.

The Lanier Theological Library is owned and operated by the Lanier Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, private operating foundation. The Foundation adheres to all applicable IRS regulations regarding the use of its facilities by other non-profit organizations or individuals.

All decisions regarding facility use are made by a committee comprised of staff in accordance with policies established by the board of directors. Each decision is approached with care to ensure faithfulness to our mission, good stewardship of resources, and compliance with non-profit requirements.
