Dr. Andrew Abernethy, a Hebrew and Old Testament specialist at Wheaton College, joins David Capes on the Stone Chapel Podcast to talk about his recent book, “Savoring Scripture: A Six Step Guide to Studying the Bible.” As a scholar, Andy often writes books and articles for people inside the academy. In this book, he takes insights he’s gained on how to help laypeople read the Bible more effectively as a means of savoring God and his Word.
