Course Description

An investigation into the nature of the New Testament Gospels and an overview of their stories, histories, and theologies. Special attention will be given to the Kingdom of God in the teaching of Jesus and how the Old Testament forms the substructure of the Gospel accounts.

This is a core course toward the Lanier Certificate in Theology and Ministry (5 Contact hours).

The course consists of viewing three videos, each approximately 60 – 90 minutes long, and answering a series of questions related to each video. There will also be a live Zoom session on December 15, 2025 at 7:00 pm with Dr. Capes for additional content and Q&A. Replays of this session will be available.

 

Cost

There is a $30 fee for the course.
