When Judaism Began with Steven Bob

Today on the Stone Chapel Podcast, one of my favorite rabbis, Rabbi Steven Bob. We became acquainted when I taught at Wheaton College. After decades of working on and becoming an expert on Jonah, he has now turned his attention to the books of Ezra & Nehemiah. Largely forgotten by Christians and Jews, these two texts tell the story of how Judaism began. That is, the Judaism we know today. Rabbi Bob has written a terrific book When Judaism Began, Exploring the Books of Ezra and Nehemiah.
